Welcome to P6 Cats!!

Hello everyone and welcome to P6 Cats page. The children have been very busy over the last few months and are working very hard. I am seeing each and every child flourish and grow and it is a joy to be their teacher.
We are looking forward over the next few weeks to discovering our new topic 'Fairtrade'. Keep and eye out for some photographs as we progress through this wonderful topic.

Pupils will be able to: Number Dividing by 8/7/6 Place value: Which number has 6 as the Hundreds Make the smallest/largest possible number using 4 cards Reading numbers in words Whole numbers and not whole numbers- Which numbers are not? Invent calligrams and a range of shape poems, selecting appropriate words and careful presentation. Build up class collections.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE
The Ni Executive has confirmed if you travel back from Portugal AFTER 4 am on Saturday 22/8/20 you do NOT have to quarantine for 2 weeks. Parents are reminded if their children have returned from Portugal BEFORE 22/8/20 they MUST still keep isolating for 14 days from the date of their return. We TRUST ALL parents will follow this advice and send their children back to school on the correct date if they are isolating currently. We are caring for the safety of our whole school community and ask parents to follow the this updated advice.
