Shared Education

2019/2020 P3

Primary three will be participating in the shared education programme this term with Presentation Primary School.  It involves teaching a series of PDMU and numeracy activities/lessons.  The activities will take part in both schools. 

The children from both schools will be involved in a series of 9 shared lessons this year.  The aims of the programme will be to promote and develop friendships through a shared team teaching approach.  The children will also be learning about similarities and differences as part of the PD&MU curriculum.

Pupils will complete with their partner a spilt facial profile looking at features, similarities and differences.

Pupils will discuss traditions from the 12th July and the 17th March. Together they will complete a worksheet identifying images associated with each tradition.

Following the continued success of our schools’ partnership, it will be an exciting and fun experience for all the children, also giving them the opportunity to re-establish the very good links we have already developed with Presentation Primary school.
